Boston College has won three of the five games he has started, which is its most successful run since beginning conference play.
But the Eagles also are coming off a flat performance in a 66-54 loss to North Carolina State in their regular-season finale as they head to Greensboro, N.C., for the ACC tournament.
The Eagles gained the No. 8 seed and will play ninth-seeded Virginia in a first-round game. No. 1 Duke awaits the winner in the quarterfinals.
